The map in the Batman movie with “Sandy Hook”....
Since “Gotham” was really New York City, that map was probably showing the six-mile long sand bar, or “spit,” on the northeast coast of New Jersey known as Sandy Hook.
It’s not far from New York Harbor, just a short ways south of Staten Island and Brooklyn. There’s an 18th century light house there at Sandy Hook as well.
No. The map in the Batman movie showed Sandy Hook, Connecticut. Not Sandy Hook in New Jersey. At least that is what I remember when watching the movie clip.

I think Sandy Hook on the map is actually pointed to in the clip.

And didn’t the Batman movie props guy also die not long after the movie?
