Traditional conservatives have been marginalized, pushed to the fringes like the Amish. They can either accept that (and refuse to assimilate into the godless low-rent imitation of secular European culture) or be absorbed by the Borg. Not that we shouldn’t participate in the political process while living our lives; I just don’t see much sense in expecting our ideas to hold sway over an uneducated pagan society.
Stories of children being abused by homosexual “parents” or shot by thugs don’t even move me anymore; to me they are stories from a different world in which my participation isn’t wanted.
