I read this and it is too metaphorical or double meanings or something...what the heck is the conclusion?
It used to be called "the silent majority." A more fitting description today is "the ignored majority," or "the invisible majority."
Americans on balance are much more on-board philosophically with the taxed-enough-already goal of cutting back and limiting government so freedom and prosperity is restored. However, many of them don't know it -- yet.
Judging by the reader comments on mainstream outlets in liberal cities like Los Angeles and on the East Coast, Americans who are aware enough to read and care are about two to one, seething, angry, livid, at liberalism, Obama, and the bias in the mainstream media. The immigration thing is amazingly more potent; on one L.A. MSM outlet, the supposed middle of leftyland, anger at Obama is about 99 to one. Americans are really angry, angrier than FReepers, judging by the comments. Understand that these are places the MSM doesn't go. The MSM ignores this side of America.
The truth will out -- not always the way we'd like it to, but rubber eventually hits the road. What we have here is a tyrannical minority attempting seizure of a majority. It has to use FORCE against something that is bigger than it is.
