Not really; It's a tied and true technique that all "progressives" learned at the Clinton School of Transparency.
If asked a tough question, change the subject. Or say, "Bush did the same thing." If that doesn't work, there's always... filibuster! Keep talking incoherently until the host can't stand it and tries to move on.
Personally I prefer if the host lets them.
If the viewing audience has an average IQ over 100, they will see through the charade. And the senseless answer played endlessly later is amusing documentation of the technique.
If the viewing audience has an average IQ of under 70, they are viewing a different channel anyway!
Yep. It wouldn't be so bad if it were an actual data dump, but its a litany of lies.
You forgot one other tactic they use. They’re asked a question and they say “That’s the wrong question.” Clinton got away with this so many times. I’ve had people pull that when I ask a question. They learned from Clinton.
I once pointed out that Clinton lied about Paula Jones and the response was “That question shouldn’t have been asked.” So, there’s another tactic.
