Because they have been told that Israel occupies Arab land.
Historically false information since Arabs come from further east and south and did not remain in the area long after 700AD. During the 19th century the area of present day Israel had little in the way of cultivated areas but was desolate ground. The Turks, who ruled the area, sold land to Jewish groups in the hope that they would make it productive. Meanwhile, small communities of Jews who had never left the area continued to grow but the local Imams would inspire the local Muslims to rise up and slaughter the Jews.
And think...America and Israel both have the nuclear capability to almost instantly wipe any country off the face of the earth, but haven’t done it. Now if Hamas had one, would Israel last a week?
Hate is not only powerful it is very evil.
In the US the people who are part of the Culture of Death aka pro-abortion types tend to support the Culture of Death in the Middle East. After all, there is little difference between an abortionist and a Mohammedan terrorist.
I remember having an argument with a Brit that the PLO was worse than the IRA. He went ballistic. I think many there think any nation that can’t raise military resources has a right to terrorism. For the Brits I think their pro-Arab sentiment goes back to that POS Lawrence of Arabia. The Arabs can do no wrong in their mind.
We all know the only reason why someone would support Hamas. Hamas kills Jews, and only anti-Semites support those mass murderers.
Because Hamas is fighting against Western Civilization and especially and immediately the Joos, the Big Boogiemen of all of Liberaldom.

The Left hates the Right so much that they fiercely support anyone the latter opposes. That Hamas et al would sooner execute Leftists for embodying everything they despise is entirely irrelevant to said support.
