I also purchased a nurses guide to drugs and a physicians desk reference. I don’t plan to use them unless I can’t get doctor. Dosage is important of course.
I several of those starting about 25 years ago. I use them all the time. Sometimes, Docs ask me if I am a nurse. LOL
No, I am just a well-informed consumer, who took the time to learn the lingo, so that I could readily communicate with my Docs, and my Dad’s Docs.
Plus it greatly enhanced my understanding of all the various issues my family and I have had over the years. Every now and then I go to the University Bookstore and pick up an updated copy when it goes on sale at the end of a semester.
