Women in third world or most any country that has a lower standard of living, are attracted to western men and western living. In my town, I think European men outnumber Americans.
One British friend, a fellow teacher in Slovakia, is following me here to Cebu, He has been here over the last week, getting to know his Philippine girlfriend.
It is hard to beat an Asian girl and her devotion to her man.
Traditional Asian women maybe but I know a few Asian guys whose wives nag them “Why you not more successful?” “Why I have to work” “Why we not go on better holiday” I feel like saying to them “Because you are a lazy, miserable bitch, that is why” but I do not want to offend my Asian friends!
In Davao City, I think it is similar to Cebu, in that it seems the Europeans outnumber the Americans. In Angeles City, I am pretty sure the Americans outnumber the rest. I would suspect Olongapo is the same. The best things about Davao City, is that it is a law and order city, and outside the typhoon belt.
