HG is the only excoriator hereabouts. He is just an old curmudgeon with an uncanny ability to read every post on FR. Pimping is an exercise in building one's blog with hits. We are not trying to build up Mr. Greenfield's blog by pushing readers to his site for "the rest of the article." Daniel has graciously permitted us to post his blog in full here at FR.

The blog-pimps who get excoriated are those who excerpt their own stuff in an effort to drive traffic to their blog.
