You can firmly believe its a Zimmerman scenario but it doesnt sound like it and Zimmerman didnt unload 8 rounds into him from 35 feet away.
It is a Zimmerman scenario. We have the media inciting riots. All I hear is he was gunned down. We don’t know that, we don’t know jack, and never will. Point is, instead of demanding an investigation, the black community in this town started a violent blood thirsty mob. Shooting at helicopters, throwing bricks and molotovs at officers. Trying to provoke officers to shoot, burning down businesses, looting.
If the name comes out, the guy will be killed. His house likely burnt to the ground, his family possibly beaten or raped, maybe even killed. How is that for justice? It isn’t. Why are so many here supporting violent mobs?
The officer that did the shooting may or may not have had a good reason. Who knows what happened, except what the media tells us and I have no reason to believe any of it. But a violent mob isn’t going to solve the problem. The police response is appropriate. Would you allow an angry violent mob to run rampant, start fires, and throw molotov cocktails at cops in your city? If yes, then go join up and view the hatred first hand. There is no justice in this.
Why is it that everything in the “urban” community seems to get filmed on someone’s cell phone and uploaded to World Star Hip Hop, yet various witnesses nearby have thus far been unwilling or unable to provide video evidence to back up the story that’s been widely disseminated in the media?
I doubt any FReeper was in Ferguson to verify that the guy was 35 feet away. One report had the kid much closer and coming at the officer for round 2. In time the facts should come out, but I’m not buying the initial ‘story’ we’ve been fed.
