In your neighborhood, do people shoot an innocent woman in the head, burn down a convenience store and loot & pilfer a Wal-Mart and dozens of other businesses when something angers you?
Who got shot ? missed that, Woman?
>
Well, stealing and destroying businesses is a time-honored civic right of ‘protest”.
Why do I have to obey the law?
No one else is.
Oh right, I’m white....
Yep, all those cities burned in the USA during the hard times of the Depression and WWII.
Rioting and looting a bunch of stuff?
"Police even tear gassed an Al Jazeera news crew, and arrested two journalists for no reason."
No reason, except breaking and entering into a boarded up private building.
"Whenever hands are raised, just as Brown's were before he was fatally shot""
No bias there.
Black privilege means you can be 6’4” and weigh 300 lbs, grab for a cop’s gun and be lionized as a saint when the cop shoots you dead. Black privilege means that cops don’t have to justify shooting non-black victims whereas when a black perp is shot, anyone pointing to the fact that he’s no saint is automatically labeled racist.
So smashing a store front and making off with the merchandise is now a form of free speech. Mmmkay.
This writer must have forgotten that the widespread looting is why
the police were deployed. To protect businesses who had nothing to do
the the young black thug being shot.
Baloney.

A guy just walked up and punched my photographer in the face 4 times. People in the crowd rushed to help, the guy ran.

This event is both racism (both directions), as well as people being fed up with our paramilitary police forces (and government in general).
Just wait and see how things roll after they rig the midterms.
It’s coming. New alliances are forming between former enemies, with authority being the enemy it really is.
(R)evolution.
Near perfect timing for November election day.
Expect the full circus.
Facts won’t matter one iota.
“Hands up! / Don’t shoot!”
I wonder... has that ever worked for anyone facing some thug with a gun ?
Yeah, I fervently believe they wanted to protest peacefully in the first place. That’s why we had a couple of days of stories about people looting and burning. They really wanted to be cool and mourn, but St. Louis County Police said “No, you guys have to riot. We insist.”
Look. I’m open to the very real possibility that this cop needs to lose his job and go to prison. But don’t stand there, pee on my head and tell me it’s raining.
Hard times?
What hard times would those be?
