That's the real problem, he won't be. Case after case is making this very clear. The police can kill with no accountability whatsoever.

I have not researched the details of this incident but it looks to me like this is yet another questionable police shooting. It may have been justified or it may not but one thing is for sure if it was not I doubt there will be any meaningful consequences.

Details that look suspicious to me is the amount of shots fired and where the suspect was found in relation to the police cruiser. To me, it looks as though this suspect was running away. Even if he attempted to take the officers weapon, at the point where he was running away removed any justification for lethal force. We need more details though to determine this for sure.

There are definitely issues with law enforcement that deserve more attention. The cops often get away with physically harming private citizens who have done no wrong. We don’t know if it happened in this case yet or not, so I’ll withhold judgment. The use of military equipment in the aftermath was disturbing though. The police serve the people and they deserve scrutiny as do all government employees in positions of power.
