Liberal Billionaire: 99.5% of Americans Are Not ‘Super Sophisticated’ (Warming deniers)

Billionaire hedge-fund manager Tom Steyer attempted to explain why there is still a sizable portion of Americans that do not buy in to global warming alarmism by, basically, generalizing virtually all of America as not “super sophisticated.”

Speaking at a climate conference hosted by the American Renewable Energy Institute, Steyer said:

“I think if you were to go around to most of the — what I would think of as super-sophisticated people who think about politics and policy more than five minutes a month — we are doing really well.”

“And the question in the United States of America is how are we doing with everybody else, which is the 99.5 percent of the people whose lives are very busy and complicated and pressing and they don’t have a lot of time to think about the things that don’t immediately impact themselves and their family.

In the dictionary (yeah I know, how old-school) the word sophisticate has interesting definitions;
1. To cause to become less natural, especially to make less naive and more worldly.
2. To make impure; adulterate.
3. To make more complex or inclusive; refine.

So is it super-worldly to be super-sophisticated or is it super-impure?

Don’t have to be to recognize attempts to create revenue streams for institutions and governments, national and international, at the expense of producers in society.

You don’t have to be sophisticated to question motives of so called scientists and AGW believers who actively attempt to destroy those who question or challenge unproven claims of disasters to come.
