I would parse that a bit, "If you are not working, but collecting welfare, SSI disability or some other government program at 30, you've failed at life. If you're still collecting minimum wage at 30, your success at life is on life support and you need to do something fast to keep it from failing....
Going to disagree somewhat: if you’ve actually EARNED disability, by getting hurt while actually doing a real job, you haven’t failed.
Knew a guy, a carpenter who fell off a roof and broke his back, paraplegic. Accidents happen, and that’s what disability is for. He does IT now, from a wheelchair, but spent a few years on disability while recovering and learning some new skills.
Some idiot who fakes something, or claims a psychological disability just to “get on the check”, is another story entirely. . .
