Funny thing, my Mexican ancestry and my wife’s Thai blood, makes both of us visibly “other” however we’ve never had any hassle with the police. My wife has had some pretty nasty accusations thrown her way but that’s been all. We don’t feel put upon and certainly not by law enforcement. Everyone faces some bigotry, try being white in Ferguson.

Jim, you suffer from less than white privilege. If you where truly black the police would shoot you on sight. If you where white you would be given a free scholarship to Wesleyan and a $10 million a year job as an investment banker even if you had a degree in art therapy, just like all us white folks.
