“Whaddaya say, Freepers?”
Well, now that you ask...
I probably contribute to the store closings in the malls because I only buy from the local ‘mon and pop’ stores when at all possible, and when I cannot, I buy online. Frankly, I haven’t set foot in a mall more than twice in the past 5 years.
I also bank with a local bank rather than the big boys, althought I know Dodd-Frank provides for the ultimate demise of the local bank.
I , too, haven’t seen the inside of a mall in years except to go to the Apple store to resolve a computer problem. Last year I accompanied my husband to a local mall when he had an eye exam and bought new glasses. I hope the malls aren’t depending on people like me to survive.
I was thinking more along the lines of calling "Dollar stores," "Obama stores," like "Hoovervilles."
