Nobody ever gets fired in government. I fired our finance director. people were shocked and amazed someone actually did it.

Yep, I am surprised they allowed you to fire someone. I just read an article about the tensions between civilian government workers and vets Obama forced the govt to give preference to. Seems the civilians don't like the disciplined, hard working vets. Makes them look lazy.....
