A woman who claims to be the “stepdaughter” of Dallas Ebola patient Thomas Duncan told CNN’s John Berman on Friday that she had close contact with her stepfather and ended up calling 911 when he became feverish and sweaty.

However, she also revealed a number of other “shocking” details about her interactions so far with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention officials.

Firstly, Youngor Jallah claimed she found out that Duncan was diagnosed with the deadly Ebola virus on the news. She told Berman that no official with the CDC or other agency called to inform her.

“I saw it on the news. No one called me and tell me that step-daddy is positive of Ebola,” she added. “No one called me.”

The woman also said no official provided instructions as to how — or even if — she should clean and disinfect the apartment. Further, Jallah claimed she is still waiting to receive instructions from CDC officials on whether or not she should self-quarantine....

Rush nailed it today. PC putting is all in jeopardy. Anyone objecting to the mass infection of Americans is a racist, xenophobe.

The game of Ebola Roulette continues...

*click* spin *click* spin *click* spin…BANG!

Eeeee-bolllll-aaaaaa ping!

Bring Out Your Dead

We’re gonna need

a bigger cart!

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

The reason they did not contact her are give instructions, is because all the people working and leading these positions are inept, and should not be in these positions. They have a easy job and rake in the bucks and retirement and perks. Look at all the other high positions from VA on down, its a waste of money plus they are not up to the job. What total mess we are in.

What they don’t think a potential Ebola victim is worth talking to? Incompetence to the n th degree.

They also don’t think that informing a potential victim of AIDS is necessary. Actually, that would be violating the medical privacy rights of the person who exposed the potential victim. Nevermind the rights of the potential victims.

The more I read about Ebola, the more the TV movie series “The Stand” comes to mind.

The movie OUTBREAK is the one I think of. Cute lil monkey, smuggled in is carrier of Ebola Virus- spits on guy that smuggled him in. Contagion spreads.

Dustin Hoffman saves the day just as the Government gets ready to set off a fuel air bomb to kill everyone, even though they found the monkey and developed a cure.

The town was quarantined, and the evil guy in authority wanted to keep the cure so that the government would have a perfect bio weapon.

Or you could be faced with a situation like Omega Man, or I, Legend.

Considering the disease that got by the CDC/HHS at the southern border, is it any wonder they have been completely and utterly behind the curve on how to deal with an influx of ebola medical refugees? SNAFU would be an understatement to describe the current civil service culture, paralyzed by PC policies into a nonresponsive blob of ninnies.

Or, more appropriately, the mini-series THE STAND.
