I don’t get it either.
The agent was very rude (it was when the first patient had just flown United from Dulles to DFW). I told him I couldn’t believe a CEO couldn’t make a decision to stop flying to these countries. He said they had no choice. I was shocked. (Ended up canceling our UA flights, too, btw.)
I wonder how big of a loss airlines are actually taking. I know several people who are changing their plans to NOT fly, this holiday season.

I agree with you. I would be happy to stop flying now and let them know why but I quit flying three years ago because of a particularly bad experience I had with TSA in Kansas City. Sent Senator Cornyn a note re issue and his response was to tell me he was surprised since TSA is doing such an awesome job of keeping us safe when we fly.
He just wants to vote “Present”.

ROB is not among the world's busier airports. A couple of flights per day. Plus charters now and again.
Brussels Airlines is pretty much it — if you're from the world or want to get there.
There are occasional flights to fellow ratholes like Accra or Casablanca.
So, it's not impossible. You can get out if you have the wherewithal.
And if Lurch gives you a visa, as he did for Eric Duncan.
Pretty near impossible for this nancy boy obammy to be much of a man.
