For the Left, individuals are only important when the socialists are trying to justify their proposed legislation. That’s when they trot out individuals who can’t get coverage. After the law is passed, the socialists no longer care about individuals.

As long as everybody gets the same lousy treatment, they don’t care if the treatment is lousy, or if it’s deteriorating. (However, if members of their own family are affected, the elite often try to get their relatives special treatment.
