Perhaps I’m being overly optimistic (very rare for me) but I can’t help thinking that our two affirmative action WH occupants honestly believe that the post white house years are going to be spent waving to adoring crowds, globe trotting with the elites, endless fawning press pieces, partying with rock stars and hollywood types, ya know like the Clintons. They are going to be very disappointed.

Well, there is a political saying that the loneliest, most degrading job,saddest thing to see in the world is that of an ex-President. Where once he was the most powerful man on Earth, legions of those who see to his every need, every whim attended to,world leaders, heads of state fawning over you, every conceivable need, access to all, every bit of information, secret,anything,everything, Air Force One, at your beck and call, the Media and much , much more.

Then in an instant, no one pays attention to you or gives a damn about you. Look at Carter, Bush and see what I mean. Obama won't fare any better.
