Hey, Kids, Puph to Majik Dragoon wants you to know: Weed is a Panacea

The Science of Pharmacology Dictates that Any Effective Medication Has Side-Effects.

A medication can't be effective if it has no dangers.

(Side-Effects Management is at the heart of Pharmacology.)

It's magical thinking to promote Weed as a cure-all with no dangers.

Frankly, I didn’t believe it when family members said that the schizophrenia was due to excessive marijuana use.

You shouldn't have - in no place where marijuana use rose was there a corresponding rise in schizophrenia.

You are wrong on just about all you just stated.

If cannabis were legal people could grow it in their backyards or a pot in their window like tomatoes or any house plant. It would be worth about as much as tomatoes too and therefore there would be no profit in it for drug dealers or cartels. Cost to grow cannabis = a few seeds and some dirt.

Do you apply your logic on it becoming too available if it were legal, to alcohol and tobacco also? They are legal, do you want alcohol and tobacco made illegal? If not your anti legal cannabis stance has no weight.

Cannabis is not addictive. Heavy use smoking can produce dependency which can be overcome with short term non use. Alcohol and tobacco and many pharmaceutical drugs are very chemically addictive, so I guess we can assume you are advocating them being prohibited and their use being made illegal, correct?

The magical thinking that marijuana cures most ailments is rather like the magical thinking that the drug war reduces crime.

Claims Jefferson and Washington smoked dope.

Attributes anti-dope efforts to capitalistic pharmaceutical companies pushing useless medicines.

Contrasts alcohol use as bad, so why is dope bad?

Etc...

Ad nauseam.

The. People were not hospitalized in the same town, or even state where the problem originated.

Included in my statement is the fact that in no COUNTRY where marijuana use rose was there a corresponding rise in schizophrenia. Did they all emigrate?

Nobody said "useless" - now we begin to see the real source of your accusations.

My wife just told me about a news story re: an 18-month old BABY that was cured of brain cancer using, in part, hemp oil.

I told her that the baby was a damn dirty hippie who should be in prison! For real: I use a vaporiser to ingest my medical cannabis. It has a temperature setting that allows a person to fine tune what they ingest. The analgesic components are released at about 240 degrees. The "gettin' high" components are released beginning at about 260 degrees. I just set it a 300 and let her rip. Above 300 degrees, benzene is released, which is a poison. PS: The used-up waste product makes excellent fertilizer. PPS: My next door neighbor has MS. She is in constant pain. It takes her 5 minutes to get from front door to car door. I would not deny her anything that eased her pain; in fact I consider that immoral.

I agree. I don’t understand why the eastern part of our country is so against medical use of marijuana.

You are quite on fire for your love. But you need to work in your reading comprehension and focus.

“Big Brother approved pills that are proven physically addictive, toxic to every bodily organ and far more impairing”

Oh, yes, sorry, not useless. Just bad.

And in terms of reading comprehension and focus, I don’t mean the above example, I mean earlier. This is just another example.

So you posted an example that is irrelevant to you point, but not an example that is relevant. Somebody needs to work on their focus.

You couldn’t even keep straight what my statement was.

Your attempts mean nothing here and back and forth like this is stupid.

Let’s cut to it.

Why are you so enamored with pot?

I understand that happens to people. It happened to me. I smoked good dope for a long time when I was younger.

I know all this propaganda and idiotic thinking of the dope heads.

The dope heads pretty much have set the liberal agenda of the last decades and been at the forefront of the culture war and war against Judeo-Christian culture.

Why do you come to a conservative site to spread pro-dope views?

Claimed the founders grew hemp, specifically “India hemp” which is what we know of as marijuana. I see no claim made that they used it; obviously they grew it, they wrote that they did.

The development of marinol by AbbeVie was touted as an effective way to circumvent calls for marijuana legalization.

I see no claims of fact in asking the question that, if alcohol is bad but not banned, why is marijuana banned even if bad

That’s three strikes for you.

It’s amazing how rational one gets about marijuana when holding a loved ones head while she kneels at a toilet vomiting from chemo.

I know all this propaganda and idiotic thinking

And yet you can't even correctly quote the alleged "propaganda" much less rebut it.

Why do you come to a conservative site to spread pro-dope views?

My views are anti-dope (except for genuine medical need, which does exist) and pro-freedom, which is the conservative position.

I have read just opposite statistic. Mental health statistics are difficult because countries handle the statistics differently. For instance, euthanasia figures are up 15% in the Netherlands because doctors are targeting the mentally ill for euthanasia.

Ther is no denying that regular use of high potency marijuana causes physical changes in the brain. You can argue all you want about the result of those physical changes, but for a healthy person, physical changes in the brain are not considered to be positive and those changes are permanent in young people.

I have read just opposite statistic.

Where?

"Still, none of the data linking marijuana use and psychosis can prove causality or sufficiently explain why rates of schizophrenia have remained stable or even declined since the 1950s, while marijuana use has increased exponentially. Unlike rates of cigarette smoking and lung cancer, which rise in tandem, marijuana smoking rates in the population do not correlate with higher rates of schizophrenia." - http://healthland.time.com/2011/02/07/marijuana-linked-with-earlier-onset-of-schizophrenia-in-research-review/

for a healthy person, physical changes in the brain are not considered to be positive

That's up to each adult to decide for himself - or should be if this is a free country.

and those changes are permanent in young people.

Since well before any state had legalized pot, teens have reported that they could get it more easily than beer or cigarettes ... which is to be expected since legal sellers card and illegal sellers don't.

Keep telling yourself that.

Legalized marijuana creates the ideal Democrat demographic, stupid, lazy and somewhat crazy.
