bump to my ownself.
The information missing from this story is why Mr Anderson had the $ in his car.
The “why” is missing.
The “who”, “what”, “when”, and “where” have been covered.
Any time one of those cardinal rules of journalism are either omitted or ignored, is when the alarm bells should be going off...
Why is the “why” coverage missing???!!!????
I got flamed for suggesting Eric Frein ‘could’ have had a good motive for what he did.
This is one of those motives.
Is the offense criminal? If so then this should apply:
Amendment VIIf it's not, then this should apply:
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence.
Amendment VIIIn either case, most
In Suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise re-examined in any Court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.
asset forfeiturecases would require a jury-trial.
The sheeple need to take back their own town’s government.
Then proceed to the county and state level.
Take it back.
Remember playing “Cops and Robbers”..?
Now it’s, “Cops ARE Robbers”.
There are so many great, safe jurisdictions in the world to bank, to invest, to own property, and to store assets. And you can set all of this up without leaving town.
Canceling passports and closing airports is even easier.
You needn't think, when the crisis arrives, that they are just going to let an income-producing, wealth-holding asset like you just walk right out the door, do you?

A more enlightening article about Mr. Anderson’s case.
He has gone to court and according to this article is expected to prevail. It should also be noted that drug dogs did alert, although no drugs were found.
People don’t sue because they can’t take discovery.
I might say the ‘authorities’ are criminalizing our existence to justify theirs.
It would seem that lawyers everywhere LIKE these laws. Gets them work. Oh wait a minute, isn’t it mostly lawyers that are legislators and write the laws ??!?
The “progressives” of all parties do not believe in freedom.
there are fewer places offshore that are safe for the little guy.
“There are so many great, safe jurisdictions in the world to bank, to invest, to own property, and to store assets. And you can set all of this up without leaving town.”
OK. So in this case the guy had $25 in cash. Now tell me how he could have got $25k in cash out of the country w/o taking some enormous risks? It is still legal to take out more tan $25k, but it must be declared and this will be reported to every f-—ing Fed Gestapo agency.
Same goes for physical PMs and anything else conspicuous. Send out digital financial instruments and you have the same problem. Is this guy some kind of coyote?
Last year the Star revisited the issue in 12 states, and found the problem as bad, if not worse than before, in every state.
War on drugs. If you have more than $10K in your possession, you’re automatically assumed to be a drug dealer or money launderer.
I’ll assume he wasn’t one of those American Picker guys.
They always pay in Cash.
My old-country grandmother liked to deal in cash, and once took $3K to a car dealer to buy a car. Nowadays, that would be about $30K, and the greatest risk she would take in carrying it, so it seems, is theft by the police who are supposed to protect people.
