Obama reveled in their adulation. He claimed to be a Christian (an absolute lie), but never rebuked his false deification.

If we read the Books of Exodus, Deuteronomy, and Judges, we find that God loved and protected the nation of Israel when it obeyed Him and sought Him. When they turned away and kindled His anger, He allowed their enemies to triumph over them, for a time.

Both Israel and America were founded upon the rock of the same God, the God of Abraham, the God of Issac. He is the same God. America has turned away, and we are under judgment.

I pray we turn back quickly.

The Left got their "one." They got their false messiah. They cannot bring themselves to admit how wicked and horrible Obama really is. I fear that the fall of America (economically, politically, militarily) has only just begun.

I compare your photos with the grim reality facing blacks in my area, and I get a warm feeling inside...They thought they were sticking it to The Man, and never wondered why so many non-black liberals were supporting him as well. Six years later, they can peer out of their welfare hives and see how far they’ve fallen.

I remember watching the fawning media coverage in 2007 and 2008, the worshiping crowds, the fainting, the slobbering of these decrepit followers.

I was disgusted by it. I recall being in a dentist office waiting room, watching some women clapping and swooning in front of the TV.

About that time, I watched a documentary on the History channel about Adolph Hitler. A German citizen who resisted the Nazis (and was imprisoned and lost his entire family to murder) was interviewed. He said he was at one of the rallies for Hitler in Munich, and he was appalled. He could not believe the hypnotic spell the crowd was under. He said that he almost wished he could have believed the same thing and shared their "happiness", but then he thought better of that and knew they were being led down to the path of Hell itself.

Germans hoped for a better future, and saw concrete inroads made by the Nazis in terms of jobs, food, and territory recovered. The Obama worshipers of 2007-08 had no such track record to point to; it was a media-generated fervor that dissipated soon after the inauguration (when things were getting even worse).

Granted, revenue streams once entrenched are rarely given up by their instigators. However, there seems to be building a ever-growing awareness of the taxpayers as to how much government has overstepped its charter. We shall see if anything can be made of it, and though I won’t hold my breath it gives one a small but welcome sense of optimism.

Actually, an unnamed, but quoted in the article, poster at the Daily Kos got it more right than he ever thought with this gem:

Don’t claim there are things in the Constitution that aren’t there.

I couldn’t count the people who have said to me that Obola couldn’t possibly be a non-citizen, because the “Constitution” requires that a presidential candidate be “vetted.”

Of course, there’s NOTHING like that in the Constitution. And there is no law and no procedure for checking the identity of any candidate.

I WOULD like to see all early voting and mail voting abolished. All voting should be by paper ballot, and the ballots should be preserved under armed guard, with a secure chain of custody from the polling place to the archives. Absolutely NO finding of ballots in trunks of cars or in birthday cakes. No polling place should be allowed to open without bi-partisan monitoring, and armed guards authorized to arrest anyone suspected of tampering with votes. And comprehensive video surveillance.
