Interesting that Bill Gates is showing interest in LENR -- he is a big proponent of 'new nuclear' and this could be another type of zero carbon power he could get behind.

Hey, I’ve got an idea. Lets use LENR to supply the power to covert coal to liquids.

I must admit that I have my doubts about this.

We have all seen these promises before, only to find out that they were wrong or out and out frauds. There are some interesting things going on here, but until there is some proof that this works and can be something more than a curiosity, I will temper my excitement.
