There is a small paragraph in today’s USA Today article linked above that “informs” their readership — officials said Gruber was never employed by Obama. Pretty hard to miss that flat out and out LIE (not parsing, from where I’m sitting). And to think it is so easy for the media to fact check. I guess facts aren’t part of USA Today reporting.
