If congress were able to get an emergency injunction from the SCOTUS, anything Obama does in violation of the ruling would give us tons of ammo to use in impeachment threat/proceedings. Obama will be seen as that much more of the criminal villain he is, for ignoring the Supreme Court.

With all due respect, you are thinking theoretical. Depending upon how far 0bama wishes to take this, there is no law or judicial ruling or poll result or even election result that can have any effect on the undeniable fact-on-the-ground that these people are HERE. There is no law that can have any effect because there is no enforcement mechanism that can be brought to bear. And of course, there is substantial resistance to impeachment, and who knows how that plays out. (In my view, it never gets to first base, but that’s just my opinion)

This is like a bank robber boasting to you/us “hey, I robbed the First National Bank down the street, look at all this loot!”

Well, what if there were no police to come after the guy. What if there was no mechanism for say the IRS to seize his bank account (as if....)

How is this guy not de facto walking around with the money he took?

These folks have EMTALA guaranteed access to hospital emergency rooms, they have free public education, virtually every state grants them the right to get driver licenses.

So how do they differ from citizens? They don’t get to vote (legally) for the pieces of crap WE get to vote for? Oh, boy, that’s just horrible. Not.
