Certain folks think that by miming the “hands up” gesture they’re showing racial solidarity or sympathy for blacks who are the victims of injustice. But what they’re really saying is “Hey, look at me. I ignore facts and want to see an innocent white guy get lynched.”
They’re not “missing” the irony, they’re far too ignorant, stupid, and racist to have any concept of it.
