“I’m not a fan of the Obama girls, but they are young girls and their dress was appropriate for an informal occasion like this.”

Nothing the President does is “informal.” Ever.

Aside from the Obama misses, how many mini-skirts did you see amongst the attendees?

It’s embarrassing behavior and should be called out.

I don’t like that they wearing skirts so short, they would not be able to sit without holding their hands, a purse or a book on their lap, so no one would see up their skirts.

Their skirts should have reached passed the tips of the middle finger at the least, or even better, just above their knees. Look to the Duchess of Cambridge, she is stylish and always a proper lady.

If young girls cannot look to the first daughters for decorum, then the bar will always be set with the popular trend setters like Miley and Selena. There is so much fashion advice out there, why didn’t someone check these girls to make sure they dressed with propriety.

I still wear short skirts, but only when my husband is with me. But I would not wear one during a serious business or community matter; that would not reflect well on him or me.

And I feel for the younger one. Michelle must not be easy for her to live with since it looks like she inherited her chubbiness.

So GWB meeting dignitaries at his Crawford ranch while wearing jeans and a casual button shirt was not appropriate?
