Yes, and Consumer Reports hated it. Why? Because it didn’t have all that EPA crap in it that kept it from actually washing clothes. That’s when I dumped CR for good. Nothing but political correctness these days. By the way, there’s a simple adjustment you can make to that washer that allows the water to fill to the very top. Check YouTube for it. My wife loves it for her horse blankets.

I’ve seen the YouTube video about fixing the water level and offered to do it for the wifey.

She declined.

But she does use the manual switch to add water for very heavy loads. She told me that the nominal water level is OK most of the time.

I agree with you about CR. Too PC. Way too PC. I gave up Scientific American for the same reason. Science taking a back seat to politics. Ruined a great mag.
