More people I’ve talked to this week are celebrating with very frugal means.

In fact, there are very few Christmas lights up around here. It is either the economics of the times or the zeitgeist of the country, but the mood is somber and apprehensive.

“.... but the mood is somber and apprehensive.”

::::::::

It is what happens as reality sinks in...when people realize they do not have a government for and by the people but a government for and by the government. Combined with the disasterous economy (forget the manipulated stock market) and jobs situation, just for openers — makes for a bleak Christmas season only enjoyed by the Marxists who have created this horrific mess.

I just hung a few Christmas light on some bushes and we didn’t put up a tree. We just put a few lights on a ficus tree in the living room. Just not in the mood to do much celebrating this year. We are in the spirit to give thanks to Jesus for saving us on Christmas Eve and Day though. We are having a candle light service at church and that will lift our spirits though.
