I have a young guy at work that was an intern, then got hired. I liked the heck out of the guy, so took him aside and warned him that now that he had a (really) good job and promising future, to watch out for women that would “put the hooks into him”. Little did I know at the time, but his “live-in girl friend” had already “forgotten something” and was now pregnant. They are still together, and he is working to be a good father to the child, but he is not interested in getting married, as it knows once the ring is done it will be through his nose. He’s already seen the devastation in other male coworkers lives due to divorce (many stories here). Pure fear drives men away from marriage now with its financial and emotional pitfalls...
This lesson is for all men.
When talented young men are lucky enough to make the NFL or the NBA, they are coached and warned about the gold-diggers who will glom on to them for their money and fame.
Too bad that too many don’t listen and have 5 or 6 different babies by 7-8 different baby mamas.
Some of the dumbest people ever on God’s green earth are millionare athletes.
The lesson should be not to have sex with women you wouldn’t want to be married to.
I just remember one time a guy told me “The ring is on my finger, not on my d-—.”
