The car was towed almost immediately. This screams incompetence of coverup, you choose. Ali Asani posted pictures of the car on his facebook almost immediately when the tow truck driver stopped at his “gas station” to show his buds. Ali indicated then that they had poured lighter fluid down her throat... How would he know that? She had yet to even be examined by the doctors? Corrupt DA, a sheriff who is a certifiable moron, and an uncaring mindless local population? It’s Mississippi folks.
“...and an uncaring mindless local population? Its Mississippi folks.”
And you know all with certainty that the local population is uncaring? I live north of Courtland and south of Memphis. I can attest that even though the story may have died down in the media, that’s not true of local conversation. I have teenage daughters who drive North Mississippi roads by themselves and some of their Christian school classmates are from Batesville (5 miles from Courtland). You can bet this case has had my full attention from the jump. I won’t defend the D.A. or the sheriff, but I promise you there are many aware and concerned Mississippians and they don’t deserve to be painted with such a broad brush.
I live in Desoto county and follow this on Twitter. Speculation is by some that white gangs may be involved given burning is something they have done in past. You have to wonder where Jessica desire to write a book falls in there
