If the management of the restaurant can’t control their scene, they deserve to lose business.
In December, the inaugural group of Black Brunch participants headed to ROCKRIDGE, a gentrified neighborhood in Oakland that isnt very inclusive to a lot of black folks and people of color,

We are rude and mean so please love us!

Fine, a bunch of us honkies could go to a Sunday black church social and insist upon four and a half minutes to read to them the names of white people who have been killed or maimed by the black “knock out games”. Who wants to bet we wouldn’t get arrested and prosecuted?
