There have been many emergencies in Florida since then, and I have not heard of any Katrina style gun confiscations.

And it is up to us, the vigilant, to make sure that it doesn't happen in FL.

Part of that effort means indentifying and removing the mechanism of seizure from the statutes.

Given the current national climate, with Leftists feeling empowered to rip the fabric of the nation, and holding the "Never let a crisis go to waste" mentality, I have no doubt that they would not try it.
