Comedy Centrals Jon Stewart, who unfortunately is evidently a news source for all too many younger Americans, has had a lot to say in the wake of the Paris terror attacks.
We havent disagreed with everything that Stewart has said, but we do feel compelled to point out Stewarts glaring hypocrisy.
First of all, Stewart gave a tribute to the victims and lamented the attack in a monologue delivered at the outset of his show.
Like just about everyone else in the US high-brow media, we cant help but notice that Stewart declined to show any of the cartoons that made the Charlie Hebdo courageous in the first place.
And, just like the Obama administration, Stewart carefully avoided making any reference whatsoever to Islamic Jihad, which is, of course the underlying doctrine behind the attacks. There has been no shortage of others in the media with the honesty and courage to point that out.
But not Jon Stewart.
Stewart was not through though.

What liberal isn’t?
You should ask the mods to fix the title of the thread (his name is Jon, not John, Stewart).
He bravely ran away.
John Stewart is a POS.
You mean like John Voight?................
“Yeah, I’m sure he sometimes spells it with an H. I sometimes spell “Jerry” with a G ... and an I!”
"Nah, nah ... jk, guys."
His name is actually Jonathan Leibowitz.
The mods should leave the title the way it is. If John Stewart misspells his own first name, that's his problem.
Liberals that I know rave about John Stewart and Steve Colbert—but neither of them have ever made me laugh.
You know, I don’t know why we even care what any entertainer says about politics. Anyone with an IQ higher than dust knows what Hollywood is going to say about any political topic, so why bother?
Know your enemy - and he sure the hell isn't Jon Stewart...
...and a Major-League AZZHOLE!!
That was in reference to an episode of Seinfeld about a car that was once owned by ‘John’ Voight....................

I know, and what I wrote is, as best as I remember, what Jerry said to George when they found the vehicle registration (which said “John,” not “Jon”) in the glove compartment and George claimed that maybe Voight spelled it both ways. (George then kicked Jerry out of the car and drove away, and Jerry almost slipped in his cowboy boots—the only shoes that Kramer had left in his closet after taking the rest to be cleaned by the neighborhood cobbler—when approached by a couple of thugs that asked him “Where’s your horse, cowboy?” or something like that.)
So, yes, I’m familiar with the episode. : )
Jon Stewart stands up to radical Muslims? You clearly haven’t been paying attention to what actually constitutes standing up to radical Muslims.
Raise your hand if you did not already know this.
Mathematically speaking, 99% of nothing is still nothing.
Jon Stewart may not be your enemy, but he sure as hell is mine.
