They went to Downey HS; there are a few video clips of it; I think one was shown, briefly, on the nightly news on the day of her death. Also when they were featured on "This is Your Life", one of their teachers appeared on the show. Karen sang in the choir and played in the band. She didn't like geometry which is why she signed up for band.

I don't know all of it but Richard and Karen lived at home until they were 25. Then they bought a house together, a really nice one which being unoccupied later, was starting to fall into ruin because Richard married and moved to Thousand Oaks. At some point shortly before her death, Karen had a condo by herself. The parents moved to what sounds like retirement living, I'd have to go find a video that gives the name of city or neighborhood.

I watch 3 or so videos every day, some I like to play over and over. From the comments and languages, I see there are old fans and there are still new fans. It is so fortunate there is such a treasure trove of photos and video clips. Some of their best early original music was burned in a fire, think at Universal Studios. My memory isn't that great so please pardon if I didn't get something right.

I so regret I missed out on their music in the 70's. I would have liked it then but it's different to watch video all these years later, and I doubt could ever have attended any of the wonderful live concerts. I went to see Johnny Cash when he came to town and don't like that kind of music. I don't know what I liked. Bob Dylan Blowin' on the Wind and the rest of that album, How Many Times something.

Glad you liked it. I suppose I’d better wrap this up as it’s about Taco Bell; I liked Rainy Days, too. There are only a couple I don’t like. Yesterday Once More speaks to me as I listened to the radio, too. These lyrics are kind of nonsensical but catchy: Every sha-la-la-la, Every wo-o-wo-o, still shines. Every shing-a-ling-a-ling, that they’re startin’ to sing’s, so fine
