I don’t need the article. I’ve read the proposed USDA regulation. The rule is in part intended to reduce the amount of added fat in kid’s diets in facilities that receive federal funding. It allows for prefried food (that is then reheated) and the FNS still has to provide additional guidance, but for the purposes of this rule, frying means cooking in added fat - stuff cooked in a frying pan or griddle (e.g. hamburgers) are still allowed.
