When Big Ben was holding stupid drunken parties and exposing himself to young women, they hung him out to dry and some of the fans even advocating cutting him.
When Ray Lewis was getting away with murder, Baltimore fans still backed him. And many did the same for Rice when he was caught on camera beating up his girlfriend in an elevator until the national outcry became too great to ignore.
