Tebow got banned for it, good for him.
He had a horrible game until...the last five minutes. Amazing game to watch.
Please spare us this cotton candy Christianity. Wilson just endorsed Obamacare and everything wonderful that goes with it like taxpayer funded abortion. Not to mention a divorce after 2 whole years of marriage(and sudden fame). He is as much a ‘man of faith’ as his idol, Obama.
I was totally rooting for the Packers, but Seattle’s tenacity, and esp. Wilson’s determination made me glad for their win.
I will be rooting for them against the pats, but I’d root for anybody against the pats, so that’s not saying much.
But, I mentioned this on an earlier thread, the prayer circle that Wilson and others formed right after the game really impressed me. Here was the moment that the press, et al, were dying to speak with him, but he postponed that to pray with his team mates and coach.
Yes, the other person is right Tim Tebow got cr*p about all this, and Wilson might too. But, you know, they’ve got better things on their minds; they are not going to worry about ankle biters.
Green Bay completely owned Seattle and only lost due to lack of team discipline and focus at the end. That Seattle swagger and bravado has been ducked out of the team.
My Grandmother could beat a gimpylimpy quarterback any Sunday too.
They totally pulled that win right out of their ass.
Or the Packers blew it out of theirs. Wasn’t sure which team wanted to lose worse, there for awhile.
I guess now we know.
I wonder who God likes in the SB?
OTOH, it also showed that going into "prevent" with 5 minutes left is a bad strategy for a team that aspires to the Super Bowl - couldn't figure out what Green Bay was thinking because the Saints have already showed how that "stratergy" is a sure path to snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
Politics aside, I’ve kind of been on his side since the “not black enough” tag he supposedly got earlier this season. “Not black enough” is everything that’s wrong with black America compressed into three words. If speaking well and acting humble and not beating your wife or fighting dogs represent “not black enough”, it explains why things are the way they are far better than any examination of “racism” can.
Now that he’s outed, they’ll try to Tebow him.
