That was one of the few times I believe he spoke near the truth as he knew it to be. The truth will come out long after the spell and his hold on the presidency has been broken for good.

He's right about people who KNOW Obama is a Kenyan (it's true), and the left's reaction to them. But provably false statements like this one don't help.
At one time it was possible to find myriad articles in many publications referring to him as the African-born senator from Illinois.
It doesn’t prove that he was born in Africa, but it proves that it served his interest for people to think he was born in Africa, it made him seem exotic and interesting.
Later, when he ran for president, all that had to be scrubbed. From that moment on, if you believed he was African-born, you were the nut.
And just what would a Kenyan born man who was raised by progressives and mentored by communists do if he were to be elected president of the United States?

What I think is the law is just as good as what you, or Obama thinks is the law. Due to the abdication of responsibility by the SCOTUS, no one has the foggiest idea about what a "US citizen" is, never mind a "Natural Born Citizen." A couple of thousand new "US citizens" will be born tonight to illegal alien or legal alien parents. I don't think that is right ... or even legal. Perhaps you do, or Al Sharpton, or Barry Soetoro, does.
If a senior citizen studied Civics in an accredited 1950s HS, he or she could be forgiven for doubting the The Mombasa MF's constitutional bona fides. But so what? A frontrunner was born in Canada to an American Citizen Mother and a Cuban citizen father. No one seems upset about that. So maybe the "eligibility issue" is now beside the point; 'Beyond the Pale;' so "yesterday."
Face it, in 2015 America, Mr.and Mrs. Vladimir Putin could travel here on a tourist visa, drop a foal, and the kid would be an American Citizen, complete with BC, Passport, and SS # ... just like the Chinese tourist couples doing baby tours that include birth in a San Francisco or Honolulu hospital!

In my humble opinion, the most compelling items are the August 31, 1961 Student Visa extension interview that Barack Obama Senior had with Immgration and Naturalization Service officer William Woods. Mr. Woods’ notes show Obama Senior mentioning his American citizen wife and child born in Honolulu on 8/4/1961 and their address in Honolulu.
Also the 1968 St. Francis of Assisi School in Jakarta, Indonesia application form filled out by step-father Lolo Soetoro lists Honolulu, Hawaii as “Barry Soetoro’s” birthplace.
