I’m surprised she has made it so far. She does not come from an elite priviledge liberal background. Her parents are not wealthy donors. He father is a professor at a good, but not elite university. Her mother works at some environmental non-profit. People get ahead in DC because of connections. I don’t see what kind of connections she has.
I don’t see the connection either esp. that her first job was in the DIRECTORATE at the CIA. She’s no ordinary CIA person -not even cruising up the ranks.
Maybe her father has friends..
