Disagree that Islam is a religion. It is evil. It is barbarism.
There is a huge difference between acts of barbarism, and a culture, or a society of barbaristic character. Islam provides said culture.
The only way to fight it is with intent to eliminate it, even though one knows that is impossible. With the right intent, and attitude we can eliminate it to the point it is contained where it started in the ME.
Islam is by its nature cowardice. Each time it has been confronted it has withered. It runs rampant only in the face of greater cowardice. Treat it as a bully and it will retreat, every time. The problem with the notion that islam fighters are out of work young thugs is that they are quite the opposite. They are paid in cash and drugs and honored in their communities. The drug lords and kingpins who pay them live in palatial mansions all over the western world.
