The only way for Congress to fight 0bama, et. al. is to defund the entire gov’t for the next two years. We have reached a tipping point. For Congress to kick the cans down the road in an attempt to preserve their careers through 2016 is a loosing proposition. It’s now or never but there are only -50 in the House and maybe 5 in the Senate committed to following the Constitution. Too bad Canada has not an adequate Bill of Rights.
Canada has the same bill of rights that the US started with.
It’s not that Canada doesn’t have adequate rights, it’s that the people have allowed the government to overreach and take rights away. If more people knew their rights, they’d me more inclined to defend them.
However, in both countries, the time to defund etc has long passed. It’s far more severe now. We are at a point in history which is unprecedented.
Yes and it appears the House is going to do the expected cave in today and pass a clean immigration bill. I have not hope the GOP majority will use its new found power to do anything. This country is unraveling toward CWII.
