MFN is a great song. Possibly the greatest intro EVER. I absolutely love it.

Since we’re voting for the song it’s

7 1985 “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” Tears for Fears.

If we were voting for the band it would be J. Geils hands down. Also, voting with a heavy heart because Van Halen isn’t in the running. :/

I forgot to vote.

Would have voted for Tears for Fears.

You should use these to seven songs to do it MVP style.

We vote for best on this list (or top 3 etc...) and points are awarded.

I bet Centerfold would not win.

Interesting.

I forgot to note the votes: 17 to 14. Sorry, TF would still not win!

I also am surprised Centerfold made it this far. Then, I am shocked at some that dropped out almost immediately, like Round 2 or 3. That is sacrilege enough!

But, I am satisfied. Much better than “In a Big Country” winning the same way - albeit NOT knowing how in hell it even got in the line-up at all!

No contest (at least between these two...)

7 1985 "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" Tears for Fears

...my own personal choice would have been Don Henley's The Boys of Summer.

Cheers!
