NOSCRIPT does all of those things (a click to enable or disable a script) AND remembers whether you want it permanently or not.

AND, as you say, NOSCRIPT provides security.

So how is the new add on better ?

It's a personal preference for which of the two is preferable.

I'm not the one who said noscript provides security. I just posted the article.
