Yes because they ensured Bob’s right to whine about it.
To: chris37
Of course right now at current prices they rightfully should be called Wallet Killers.

What, bullets couldn’t kill cops in 1787?

In 1776, a “cop killer bullet” was literally any bullet as cops didn’t have ballistic vests. And yet, the founders were okay with it.

He said that people who answer these questions in the affirmative need to take their line of thinking to its logical conclusion. And that means, if you are fearful [of] a tyrannical government taking away your rights as citizens then you ought to have a bazooka, you ought to have a tank, you ought to be able have nuclear weapons if you can get them before ISIS can get their hands on them.Okay. I'm good with that.

Did the Founder’s stake their lives and fortunes so fairyass “sports reporters” could prognosticate on things they know nothing about?

Damn right. Those are just made-up terms to make things sound scarier than they already are to the willfully, woefully ignorant, Bob.

Bob, 70% of the Cannons used by the Patriots in the Revolutionary War were Privately owned.
I wonder if those Cannons would be considered “Cop Killers”?
To: 2ndDivisionVet
Idiot. What does he think an .80 caliber round ball would do to someone that it hits?
To: 2ndDivisionVet
...the Founding Fathers wanted private citizens
to purchase cop-killer, armor-piercing bullets and an AK-47″? You bet your sweet ass they did, you pathetic jockstrap sniffer.
To: Eagles6
Yes indeed. The Second Amendment was instituted by men who had lived through the Revolutionary War, and some of whom had actually used the state-of-the-art military-grade shoulder-fired weapon... the "assault weapon" of its day... to go against not only civilian police (which largely did not exist at the time) but the career soldiers in the army of one of the leading global powers of the day.
Yes, they knew very well what they were doing, and they meant exactly that.

Well, if they knew what ISIS looked like coming at you, I’m sure they would be okay with bullets which would stop them DEAD in their tracks.

Hey Bob, did the Founders really want us having opinionated, egotistical asses pontificating ignorant views over a system capable of reaching more people than were even alive when the First Amendment was argued and written? I don’t think so, you Mr. Costas are no longer allowed to use a system capable of launching mass illogic bombs and freedom piercing hyperbole! Stuff that in your one red left shoe and smoke it.
