My, what a difference two and a half years and a nasty, self righteous video by a nasty, self righteous man make. In the summer of 2012, an individual who could only accept diversity, pluralism and multi culturalism as long as it agreed with his politically correct notions, posted a video of himself harassing a Chick-Fil-A order taker on Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day. That was the day those who actually believed in diversity, pluralism and multi culturalism chose to support the fast food chain against those who disagreed with the founder who opposed gay marriage. The founder didn't say he would fire gay people or those who were involved in this type of union, merely he didn't agree with it. Hot air ensued.
Although I had never eaten at any of the chain's restaurants because as a Jew who keeps kosher (biblically mandated, rabbinically interpreted food laws) I couldn't eat their specialties, I decided to lend my support to Chick-Fil-A that day by going to the closest one and ordering a soft drink. I then wrote about my excellent kosher adventure. No I didn't video it and no, I certainly didn't bother the pleasant young man taking my small order.

I didn’t think it was a sympathetic portrayal.
His harassment of the young female Chick-Fil-A employee was outrageous and made my blood boil. The young lady handled herself with grace. The video he made of his rant made him look like a bully and a total ahole, devoid of judgement.
The guy really paid the price financially and hasn’t been able to land another job. Maybe he should sell the movie rights.
She was so pleasant to give him water - free. Smiled the whole time. Was taken aback by the continued haranguing he gave her. I will bet she was afraid he was going to hurt her. Y, you should preach to his employer, not here. And I would bet his wife wants to kick his butt.
Reminds me of when Teddy Kennedy died. Libs were wailing and moaning that it could be the end of the left as we know it. We all knew that wasn’t the case but I’m still intrigued that they would even consider such an outcome just by one person’s death.
Exactly. We have a higher standard of behavior than the left does when it comes to what we expect folks on our side to try to live by.

The girl was interviewed and so was he.
He is an unmitigated ass.
Still full of himself and he never bothered to look deeper into the issue.
Self-righteousness is just a phony form of respectability said a wise man. I’ve eaten Chick-Fil-A. Good stuff.
The guy has been judged to not be suitable for a CFO position. I have been a CFO and there is no way this guy would be hired in my shop.
He is a loose cannon and that is a disqualifying personality trait in this end of business.

Good. I remember when it happened I thought leftists were supposed to be so “pro-woman” and “pro-working class” and here this leftist was treating somebody’s daughter or sister so disrespectfully. I hope she got a raise, a promotion and is succeeding at Chick-Fil-A for how she handled the situation.
Did they say what happened to her? Hopefully, a raise and a promtion?

Unless you were the boss's kid when it became well known that you were a jerk who liked to verbally abuse people for no reason you were often fired and no one in town would hire you.
Nobody wants a jerk without a clue working for them.

As long as it’s delivered by a third party so their employees aren’t subjected to his abuse.
Everybody is leaving him be.
Nobody is following him around making his life miserable. He just wrote a book reminding people what a jerk he is and whining about it.

Agreed. Just like the Chick-Fil-A appreciation day when Chick-Fil-A employees graciously gave protesters cups of water.

I can see it now. Jerks without a clue will join together and claim they should be a “protected class” because they are being “discriminated against” when no sane employer will hire them.
I had a boss who was good at his job but every now and then it was like a switch tripped and he would haul in the entire office to hear him rant about someone who was no longer with the company.
It was stuff that he probably had no proof of or, even if he did, was none of our business.
Finally word got back to the out of state upper management about this behavior and he found himself out of work.
Problem was that in the town we worked in everyone knew about his tendency so no one would hire him.
Can people change? Yes. But outside of a head injury or a true religious experience they so very rarely do.
I am going to go out on a limb and say this man was NOT fired for his little video. Judging by his actions he probably treated everyone in the company with the same snarky bullying he shows in the video. If the company documents specifically state the video was why he was fired (I don’t take his word for it) then it was just cover to get rid of him. He’s aiming for the “woe is me” angle and trying to cash in on some celebrity victim status.
And like a typical liberal, any disagreement is “hate” and “hateful.”
I forgive him outright. But I don't want to deal with the bastard in any way, shape or form.
And considering what he did to that girl, and extending the same courtesy of compassion to the young lady, in viewing the incident as if she were my daughter...
Did I forgive him, really? He's still breathing, isn't he?
