I think he paid a high price for his stupidity. More often, I see conservatives being fired from jobs or attacked mercilessly by the left. I can’t say anything anti gay at my work, I am certain I would be drummed out.
This guy was a jerk and at first I thought it was great that he was canned. Now I think that political correctness is being enforced by the private sector and it’s almost as effective as if the government was enforcing it. In the UK its against the law to OFFEND people, you actually go to jail over there if you offend a minority of any kind. The progressives are working hard to make that happen here.

A company ought to be free to fire an employee who reflects poorly on their organization. If I were to choose between two companies I would look less favorably towards one if it were to keep someone with such behavior issues on their team.
