Are there gardens and crops planted there already? How is the foliage faring?
How is your car?
I’m about 2 1/2 hrs west, feels like a storm would be around, too warm, breezy. Nothing right now though, stars are visible.
Be sure to take a look at your roof, and other parts of the house that may have damage and talk to your ins agent.
Also be very careful, gypsy roofers swarm into areas after storms and do shoddy work for big bucks.
I am in North Raleigh and we got nothing. I think it missed us. Hope all is ok with you.
Contact your insurance company and have them come over and inspect your roof for damage.
Hail that size will total a car in seconds.
I once saw a car that looked like someone beat it over every square inch with a hammer, after a very brief Hail storm like that.
NASTY radar images of those storms moving southeast toward junction of I-40 and I-95...nasty.
Did you happen to park at a driving range?
Thoroughly inspect your roof, fascia boards, gutters, roof/chimney vents, windows and frames, screens, siding, deck surfaces and rails, outdoor furniture/fixtures, etc.
Rather recently, hail damage to my property exceeded $75k. Fortunately I had great insurance.
I’ll second it-call your home owners insursnce company asap and have them send an inspector out to access roof damage. If you have a mortgage ANY roof siding or “board” damage will be covered. If your home is paid off, you may have reduced your coverage to get a better rate w/o carrying damage coverage.
A few years back we actually had an F1 tornado touch down near us, the accompanying hail (ours were egg shaped) resulted in entire neighborhoods getting new roofs & siding. We had board damage and had to be tarped til we could get a REPUTABLE contractor to do the job. You’ll find a lot of out of your state “gypsy” roofers/siders will suddenly be knocking at your door. We went w/a long in business, local roofer.
Seriously though, I hope you and yours are all right.

Good grief? I hope everyone is OK.
Whoa.... Awesome!! #severe #ItsAmazingOutThere RT @ChadK3Dad: @JimCantore storm to the east of Lubbock, TX. pic.twitter.com/oyQjpoLmxE
We had pea sized hail last week.
Sorry for your loss.
Like a good neighbor....State Farm is there.
Joking aside.....glad you’re OK.
Lived in MO for 13 years and got quite good at reading the radar. Next couple of days will be interesting.
