in the last couple of years, I find myself thinking of the movies Apollo 13, and when watching the scenes of mission control, all white, all men, and thinking of the honor, integrity, and great things that were accomplished with those type of men, I just want to friggen cry as to what happened to our country.
I watched the movie growing up a lot and it didn’t really matter to me who they were, the only thing is that they had “the right stuff” to go into space or be in mission control to get the job done, and in the end that’s all that mattered. I will never work for NASA, however I work in the IT field and am into Sci-Fi things, so it inspired me a bit in a way.
